Mobile court to prevent adulterated food in Rangpur




 A mobile court was conducted by the Rangpur district administration on Tuesday (March 2) afternoon in Rangpur city to prevent adulterated food.  Wise executive magistrate of the district administration Mahmud Hasan Mridha led the anti-tampering campaign.


 Evidence of sale of rotten and stale food in dirty environment was found in 5 restaurants during anti-adulteration campaign.  Five restaurant owners have been fined a total of Tk 20,000 for selling stale and stale food.


 The Rangpur district administration's wise executive magistrate said the district administration would continue such campaigns to ensure safe food for the city dwellers.


 Sanitary inspectors and members of the Metropolitan Police took part in the operation.
