Dimla Upazila has been declared as 100% Scouts Upazila

 Dimla Upazila of Nilphamari has been declared as 100% Scouts Upazila as Scout Unit Leaders have been formed in all educational institutions.

Local MP Bir Muktijoddha Aftab Uddin Sarkar declared 100 per cent Scouts Upazila from Virtually Connected in the hall of Bir Muktijoddha Aftab Uddin Sarkar Hall of Dimla Islamia Degree College on Tuesday (August 31). Deputy Commissioner Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury presided over the function. At the same time, the MP said, the role of the scout movement is important in building a nation with moral and humane people including living an orderly life. Therefore, he called upon all the unit leaders of the upazila to intensify the scout movement in schools.

District Education Officer Shafiqul Islam, Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Tabibul Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jayshree Rani Roy, Kishoreganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Amit Chakraborty, Bangladesh Scouts Dinajpur Region Deputy Director Abdur Rashid, Secretary Abu Saeed, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Nirendra were present. Nath Roy, Women Vice Chairman Ayesha Siddique, District Scouts Secretary Golam Kibria, Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sirajul Islam, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Anwarul Haque Sarkar Mintu, Upazila Scouts Vice-President and Headmaster Lutfar Rahman, Upazila Scouts Secretary Prashant Kumar Dutt and Mortuza Islam, secretary of Jaldhaka Upazila Scouts. The event, organized by Dimla Upazila Scouts, was attended by public representatives, government officials, headmasters of all schools and unit leaders.
